Tibetan singing bowls, are instruments used to create calm, focus and presence. Many people use them during meditation or mindfulness sessions, and their vibrations help shift or cleanse the atmosphere in a room. A single tone can mark the beginning or end of meditation and help the mind settle.
These bowls are traditionally handmade in India by Tibetan artisans. Because they are hammered by hand and not cast in a mold, the sound becomes warm, layered and resonant, often continuing to vibrate long after the bowl is struck.
The bowl is played with a wooden mallet, sometimes padded on one end and it's included with the purchase.

This is an approximate of the relation between weight - size (diameter) 200 - 250 g ≈ 9,5 and 10 cm
300 - 350 g ≈ 11 and 12 cm 400 - 450 g ≈ 12,5 and 13 cm 500 - 600 g ≈ 13,5 and 14 cm 650 - 750 g ≈ 15 cm 800 - 850 g ≈ 16 cm
